Clarity Before Strategy

Strategy is powerful and obedient. It will take you wherever you point it — including places you never intended to go. That is why clarity has to come first.

Leaders often reach for tactics when what they actually lack is definition. New systems, new hires, new funnels. The machinery improves and the dissatisfaction remains, because the machinery was never the problem.

Clarity is not certainty about outcomes. It is honesty about direction: what you are for, who you are for, and what you will refuse even when it is profitable.

Once direction is honest, strategy becomes a servant instead of a substitute.

The screening is the doorway.
